Your simulation schedule, its history and a preview, on one page

The Simulation Schedule page has been redesigned. It now shows the schedule, how people responded to previous simulations, and a preview of what is going out, without leaving the page. Adjusting the schedule happens there too.

The problem

Phished simulations run automatically, which is the point of them. It also means the schedule page is the one place an admin goes to check that the programme is doing what they expect. That check used to be spread over several screens: the schedule on one, past results on another, and a preview somewhere else again. A verification that takes four screens is a verification that quietly stops happening.

Why an automated programme has to be checkable at a glance

Automation earns trust by being inspectable. If an admin cannot see at a glance what is planned, what already went out and what it looked like, then the programme is running on faith rather than on oversight, and the first surprise costs more than the time the automation saved.

So the three things that answer that question now sit together. What is scheduled. How people responded to the simulations that already ran. What a given simulation actually looks like, previewed in place rather than through a chain of screens. Changes to the schedule are made from the same page, so noticing something and fixing it are one action instead of two.

That is the whole change. It adds no new capability, and that is deliberate: this is about making a programme that already runs itself something you can confirm in under a minute.

Frequently asked questions

Can I preview a simulation from the schedule?

Yes. Previews open directly on the schedule page, so you can see what a simulation looks like without navigating through several screens to find it.

Can I see how people responded to past simulations?

Yes. Historical insight into previous simulations and how users responded to them is on the same page as the schedule.

Can I change the schedule from this page?

Yes. Schedule adjustments are made from the page itself, so noticing something and changing it are one action rather than two.
